If you're hesitant to read this book because you're worried it might be too explicit, don't be. Even though the storyline sounds like it could contain a lot of brutal scenes it was really pretty tame, like PG rated. There were a few major twists I didn't see coming and it was a fairly quick and engaging read but nothing particularly upsetting.Product details

This story has a little bit of everything. It has the really good guy, the really bad guy, some fast suspenseful car chases, and a lot of lustful lovemaking and eroticism, but nothing kinky. I absolutely loved this book....the story line just keeps pulling you in. Don't know how you did it, but I felt like I was right there with them , honestly I couldn't put it down. The twists and turns I didn't see coming, oh Ms. Colbie you're good. Reading this book and you just want to cheer for the good guys. Not to mention I wouldn't mind Dorin rescuing me anytime. Now I am anxiously awaiting your next book with Tanner.
This story kept me on my toes. Wow, Brooke hasn't seen her face in years with him working for the U.S. Embassy in another Country. While visiting she sure didn't expect to be kidnapped and being sold in the sex Slave trade. Dorin is undercover and wanting to busy the biggest badest guy in the Sex Slave trade. When he get info on a U.S. girl being kidnapped its his mission to save her. With spy's, , criminal and a betrayal can Dorin get Brooke back to safety or will she be lost among all the others in the Sex trade.
Colbie Carter's first novel Sold into Salvation was an impressive start for a new author. We are introduced to Brooke, medical student and daughter of the US Ambassador to Romania, as she is traveling to visit her father for a rare visit While visiting her world is turned upside down. This story contains enough intrigue, betrayal, lust and affection to keep you engrossed and wanting to see how it all ends. I look forward to more novels by Ms. Carter and more stories containing the characters from Sold into Salvation.
I can only handle reading dark books that are what I consider dark lite. This one is and so I had no problem reading it. For the most part it is entertaining. The hero is sweet and very protective of the heroine. He is not a manhoe. He has not been with a woman in over a year when he is with the heroine. It is refreshing. The heroine is likable and the bad guys meet their just end. Occasionally I lost interest. Also the hero and heroine seemed really tame with each other. They were not very passionate with each even though there are smex scenes.
From the get go, it's a wild, fast-paced, and steamy hot read. Dorian and Brooke create the kind of chemistry that explodes (pun intended) and Colbie was able to captures it. There were a few unexpected turns in the story that had me picking my jaw up off the floor! Won't be disappointed, until you finish and have to wait for another from Colbie Carter!
LOVED this book... For a first time author this book is well written! Cannot wait for more to come. If you like realistic romance, with suspense and HAF scenes this is for you. Well developed, believable characters that are so connected with the a plot that could possibly happen. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and will definitely be on the lookout for the next installment in the series! Dorin is my new love...
